The Shift

For most of my career, I worked inside organizations — building teams, developing leaders, transforming cultures. I loved the work. But I kept coming back to the same truth: the best strategies in the world don't matter if people don't feel seen, supported, and valued.

That realization — and the personal losses that deepened it — led me to build something different. Something that puts people first. Not as a tagline, but as a practice.

Melissa's Journey

Hi, I'm Melissa. For over 20 years, I've guided people and teams to a stronger footing in their careers, workplaces, and lives.

I bring an M.S. in Human Resource Management from LSU, a Professional in Human Resource Management Certificate from Villanova, and expertise in Emotional Intelligence through the Six Seconds model. I hold both the Brain Profile Certification (BPC) and Emotional Intelligence Assessor Certification (EQAC).

My background in musical theatre taught me that the best connections happen when people feel something real. Every workshop, keynote, and coaching session I lead carries that energy — interactive, grounded, deeply human.
